About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Weblee website (weblee.online) and any services provided by Weblee. By submitting an audit application, engaging us for services, or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Weblee is operated by Lethabo Matlou and Jaden Schroeder, trading as Weblee, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
If you have questions about these terms, email us at Lethabo@weblee.online or Jaden@weblee.online before proceeding.
Our services
Weblee provides operational automation services including workflow audits, system design and build, and ongoing system maintenance. We work with growing businesses across industries.
The scope of every engagement is agreed in writing before any work begins. We do not commence build work without a signed scope document and agreed payment terms.
We do not build websites, manage advertising campaigns, or provide marketing strategy services.
The audit process
Submitting an audit application does not create a contractual relationship or guarantee of service. It is an expression of interest that we will review and respond to within 48 hours.
The operational audit is a paid service. The fee is agreed before the audit takes place and is payable in advance. The audit results in a written assessment — this assessment is yours to keep regardless of whether you proceed to a build engagement.
Audit fees are non-refundable once the audit conversation has taken place.
Engagements and payment
All build work and retainer engagements are governed by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties. These Terms of Service apply in addition to that agreement.
Payment terms are specified in each service agreement. We typically require a deposit before commencing build work.
Late payments may result in pausing of work. We will always communicate with you before taking this step.
Invoices that remain unpaid for more than 30 days beyond the agreed due date may incur a late payment charge of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
Intellectual property
On receipt of full payment, all custom automation systems, workflows, and documentation we create specifically for your business are owned by you.
Weblee retains the right to use general methodologies, frameworks, and approaches developed during engagements in future client work, provided no confidential client information is disclosed.
Our website content, branding, and any materials we create for internal use remain the property of Weblee.
Confidentiality
We treat all client business information as confidential. We will not share details of your operations, tools, or data with any third party except as required to deliver your service (for example, connecting your tools via API).
We ask that clients treat any proprietary frameworks, processes, or pricing information shared by Weblee as confidential in return.
What we need from you
Successful delivery depends on your cooperation. Specifically, we require:
- ·Timely access to the tools, accounts, and credentials needed to build your system.
- ·Prompt feedback on demos and deliverables — delays on your end may extend the project timeline.
- ·One designated point of contact within your organisation for the duration of the engagement.
Weblee is not liable for delays or failures caused by a client's failure to provide necessary access or information.
Limitation of liability
We take our work seriously and will always act in good faith. However, Weblee's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses, loss of revenue or profit, data loss caused by third-party platforms, or failures caused by changes to third-party APIs or tools beyond our control.
We are not liable for automation outputs that result from inaccurate, incomplete, or poor quality data provided by the client.
Third-party tools and platforms
Our services depend on third-party platforms including but not limited to n8n, Make.com, HubSpot, OpenAI, and Anthropic. We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or feature deprecations by these providers.
If a third-party platform change breaks a system we have built, we will assess the impact and advise on a fix. Remediation work outside the original scope may incur additional fees.
Termination
Either party may terminate a retainer engagement with 30 days written notice.
Project engagements may be terminated early by mutual written agreement. Any work completed up to the termination date is billable at the agreed rate.
We reserve the right to terminate an engagement immediately if a client acts in a way that is abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We will always attempt to resolve disputes informally before pursuing formal legal action.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance.
For active client engagements, material changes to terms will be communicated by email with at least 14 days notice.
